NEW YORK (UMNS) — A new resource from United Methodist Women on immigration, Tools for Leaders: Hope and Hospitality, includes Bible studies, worship, programs, hymns and prayers, church policy, articles and resources on controversial issues, a resource list, action ideas and articles linking immigration to other UMW social action priorities. UMW Prayer Breakfast
The California-Nevada Conference United Methodist Women (UMW) will hold a prayer breakfast during the Annual Conference Session on Saturday, June 22, at 6:30 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento, 1209 L Street, Sacramento. The speaker will be the Rev. Michael Yoshii speaking about the Wadi Foquin partnership, the mission trip to Wadi Foquin in Palestine in April 2013.

Bridges District UMW Spiritual Growth Retreat
The Bridges District United Methodist Women (UMW) will be hosting their spiritual growth retreat with the theme "Doors to Sisterhood Through Music of the Soul" on Saturday, April 20, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Jones Memorial United Methodist Church in San Francisco. Diana Butler Bass to Speak at CST March 5
Renowned church historian, popular speaker and bestselling author Diana Butler Bass will speak on "The Evolution of Women in Ministry," at this year's annual Alumni/ae and Friends Day at Claremont School of Theology.
